Can You Leverage a Polymarket Position Today? A Two-Protocol Check

"Leverage on prediction markets" is having a moment, and a lot of names get mentioned. A simple question cuts through most of it: if you wanted to open a leveraged position on a Polymarket market today, which protocols would let you? This is a quick check on two of them — PredMart and HyperOdd — looking at where each one is right now.

PredMart

PredMart is live. You connect a wallet, pick a Polymarket market, set your leverage (up to 5x — the same at any share price, thanks to a flat 80% LTV), and open the position in one transaction. The protocol takes your USDC as equity, advances additional USDC from a lending pool, buys the event shares, and holds them as your collateral in a wallet you control.

For anyone wanting to verify the basics: the contracts are deployed and verified on Polygon, there's a published audit (Hashlock), it's listed on DeFiLlama with visible TVL, and the docs lay out the risk parameters. It's non-custodial, and because you hold the actual shares, a position can be held to resolution and redeemed at $1.

HyperOdd

HyperOdd is earlier in its timeline. The site today centers on a "Get notified when we go live" sign-up, with the product described as coming soon to Hyperliquid. The positioning is liquidity infrastructure — agentic liquidity vaults, a volatility exchange, and automated LP agents for perpetuals and prediction markets across Hyperliquid and Polymarket, aimed at larger capital providers.

So it's worth understanding it on its own terms rather than as a direct equivalent: the focus is liquidity provision across multiple venues, which is a different problem from trader-facing leverage on a single Polymarket position. There's a docs site and a testnet link for a volatility product for anyone who wants to dig into the direction. The mainnet product isn't out yet.

What the Check Shows

The two are simply at different stages and, arguably, aimed at different things. PredMart is a live, usable product for leveraging Polymarket positions today. HyperOdd is a pre-launch project with a broader liquidity-infrastructure thesis that hasn't shipped yet.
