PredMart Fees

PredMart charges four types of fees: an entry fee when you open a trade, a profit fee when you close a winning trade, a holding fee that builds up while your trade is open, and an operation fee for each action. All fees are paid in USDC.

Fee Summary

Fee Type Rate When Charged
Entry Fee 0.1% of your total position Opening a trade
Profit Fee 10% of your profit Closing a winning trade
Holding Fee Builds up while open Taken when you close
Operation Fee Up to $0.01 per action Each processed action

Entry Fee

You pay the entry fee when you open a trade. It is 0.1% of your total position size (your money times your leverage), taken from your margin when the trade opens.

Example: You put in $100 at 5x leverage. Your total position is $100 x 5x. The entry fee is this amount times 0.1%, taken from your $100.

Profit Fee

You only pay the profit fee when you close a trade that made money. It is 10% of your profit. Losing trades pay no profit fee.

This fee is split: 7% goes to LPs and 3% goes to PredMart.

Example: You close a trade with $50 profit. The profit fee is $50 x 10%. You get your original money plus $50 minus the profit fee.

Holding Fee

The holding fee builds up slowly while your trade is open. It pays liquidity providers for keeping money available to cover your potential winnings.

The fee depends on how long your trade stays open and how big it is. It is taken from your margin when you close. For the current rate, see Protocol Constants.

Operation Fee

Each action costs a small operation fee, up to $0.01. This covers network costs on Base.

Actions that cost this fee: opening a trade, closing a trade, adding or removing margin, settling when a market ends.

Liquidation

If your trade gets liquidated, you lose the margin left in it. There is no partial refund — liquidation closes your position fully and you walk away with nothing from that trade. Close early yourself to keep whatever margin remains. See Margin and Liquidation for details.

No Hidden Fees

PredMart does not charge: - Funding rates — No ongoing payments between traders - Withdrawal fees — LPs withdraw from the pool for free (you only pay the network cost). Closing a trade carries no exit fee beyond the operation fee above. - LP deposit fees — Putting USDC into the pool is free (you only pay the network cost to approve the transfer)
