Getting Started

Setup guide for PredMart's three flows:

  1. Leveraged trading — open a leveraged long using USDC only; PredMart buys shares for you.
  2. Borrowing — deposit Polymarket shares as collateral and borrow USDC.
  3. Lending — supply USDC to the pool and earn yield.

Prerequisites

1. A Crypto Wallet

Any Polygon-compatible wallet: MetaMask (metamask.io), Coinbase Wallet, or WalletConnect. Store your seed phrase securely.

2. USDC on Polygon

PredMart uses USDC.e on Polygon. Bridge via Polygon Bridge or withdraw from an exchange. You'll need a small amount of MATIC for gas (< $0.01).

3. What Each Path Needs

Path Required assets Polymarket shares needed first?
Leveraged trading USDC No — PredMart buys the shares for you during the trade
Borrowing against existing shares Polymarket shares (CTF ERC-1155 tokens) Yes
Lending USDC No

See What is Polymarket? for background on CTF tokens.

Connecting to PredMart

  1. Visit predmart.com with your wallet extension configured for Polygon.
  2. Connect — click "Connect Wallet" and select your wallet. This grants no permissions, only lets the site see your address.
  3. Sign-In with Ethereum (SIWE) — sign a free message (no gas) proving wallet ownership. PredMart issues a JWT for your session.

Setting Up for Leveraged Trading

You only need USDC — PredMart buys the shares for you.

Step 1: Set Up Your Polymarket Trading Safe

Leveraged trading uses a Gnosis Safe. If you already trade on Polymarket, your Safe is reused. Otherwise, PredMart guides you through CLOB authentication, Safe deployment (one tx), and required token approvals. One-time setup; every future trade is one signature.

Step 2: Fund Your Safe with USDC

Send USDC.e from your wallet to your Safe via PredMart's deposit widget (gas < $0.01). Withdraw any time.

Step 3: Open Your First Leveraged Position

Select leverage, size, and sign one LeverageAuth EIP-712 message. PredMart atomically pulls your USDC, advances pool funds, buys shares, deposits collateral, and books debt. An entry fee is charged on open — see Protocol Constants.

The allowedFrom field pins funds to your Safe only. See Leveraged Trading for full mechanics.

Setting Up for Borrowing Against Existing Shares

If you hold Polymarket shares and want USDC without selling, no Safe required.

Step 1: CTF Token Approval

Approve PredMart's pool via ERC-1155 setApprovalForAll (one-time, same approval Polymarket itself uses).

Step 2: Deposit Shares and Borrow

Deposit shares as collateral (on-chain tx), then borrow USDC up to the LTV limit (gasless relay). See Borrowing for the full flow.

Setting Up for Lending

USDC Approval

Approve the pool to spend your USDC (standard ERC-20 approval, one-time or per-deposit). Then deposit. See Lending for details.

Gas Fees

Gas is paid in MATIC (< $0.01 per tx). Most operations (borrow, leverage, withdrawal) are gasless relays; only deposits and repayments require you to pay gas.

Security Best Practices

  1. Verify the URL — always predmart.com. Bookmark it.
  2. Review transactions — check contract addresses and amounts before signing.
  3. Start small — test with small amounts first.
  4. Monitor health factor — liquidation triggers at < 1.0. See Liquidation.
  5. Understand risks — lenders face bad-debt risk; borrowers face liquidation.

Next Steps
